Friday and Saturday nights at Hyatt Regency are Movie Nights. Beginning at 8:00p.m., family-friendly films will be shown in the Chula Vista room at Q, with plenty of complimentary refreshments on hand.

Both Hyatt Regency and Grand Hyatt make it easy and affordable to enjoy your family vacation by offering a Kids Eat Free program. For every adult meal purchased at either Q or Achiote River Café, children ages 12 and under eat fee.

“Yorktown” is a 1970′s inspired horror film that takes place in the City of Yorktown. It’s about a group of eight friends that upon hearing of Yorktown Memorial Hospital from an ill guided bar patron, played by actor/comedian and NBC’s Last Comic’s Standing Season 5 finalist Dante, the group decides to take a road trip to the haunted location and “investigate”, despite the heeded warnings from the bartender, played by actress Rebekah Kochan. What they don’t realize is that someone has taken up residence in the building and someone is trying to revenge a death. When you don’t pay attention to your friends, bad things happen. The movie takes a traditional plot and adds modern social elements and a plot twist.

Angry Otter Productions utilized six independent bands from Texas and three other states, to furnish the 15 track rock soundtrack and offers an original score which accompanies the film. The films soundtrack is being released in late August 2011.

After the movie’s premiere the movie will then be distributed on DVD in October of 2011. Angry Otter Productions self rates this film “R” for language and sexual content. It has a run time of 77 minutes.

“Our intent is to develop and create films showcasing various genres, especially Horror. We feel that films today, most notably horror, are missing an important element that has not been seen since the mid 80s. That is, the characters having a bond or friendship that is noticeable on screen. Too many films today rely on the power of graphic special effects and have lost sight of the human element of a film. It’s the connections these characters have that move a story along and gets the audience vested in the outcome. This is one reason that so many remakes of great 80s films are coming up flat and uninspiring and don’t effect audiences in the same way today. We hope to influence this change with this film and other film projects we have on the horizon.
