Deus Ex: Human Revolution Beyond 2027: Stealth
The guys and gal at Eidos Montreal talk a little bit about the stealth mechanics in the upcoming futuristic, cyber-noir, espionage thriller, Deus Ex: Human Revolution . The focus of this developer walkthrough is all about utilizing stealth to get in, around and past guards, bad guys and armored mercs.While most of the trailers havent really focused on it before the AI in the game arent entirely designed to just aim and shoot. Eidos made sure that the games computer controlled enemies will adjust to the playing style of the player, going about their business until players engage them as hostiles.
As you can see, the game looks pretty cool as a stealth-shooter. It also seems to focus more on the stealth elements that were missing from the latest Splinter Cell game. This bodes well for fans of the stealth genre who may feel like theyve been cheated out of some good espionage thrillers this generation.
You can pre-order Deus Ex: Human Revolution from the Official Website as the game preps to release later this month on August 23rd for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
