Ivory has been out of practice coming off surgery to repair a Lisfranc fracture, and his latest operation leads us to believe he's headed for PUP to open the season. A second-year power back out of Tiffin University, Ivory rushed for 716 yards on 137 carries (5.23 average) in his rookie season. Mark Ingram is a safe bet to start this year, with Pierre Thomas and Darren Sproles backing him up.

It sounds like your condition is not improving and your injury could be quite serious. In this case, I would recommend going forward with the surgery to repair your foot, given the amount of pain and time it’s taken to, well, not heal. Could it be that your desire to avoid surgery is fear-based?The best thing you can do is see a competent osteopath who is trained in manipulation therapy (I know one in the bay area, and depending on where you live, I might be able to find someone in your area). Surgery is completely uncessary for your condition, however very few allopathic doctors are familiar with adjustment system and I’ve never talked to someone that saw a chiropractor for this.
Alternatively, while it won’t fix the problem completely, if you buy some DMSO and apply it to the area it will get rid of the inflammation, pain and heal some of the tissue damage. If you couple that with not walking on it for a while it may fix itself on it’s own. Hope that helps!
