Red carpet report: 'The Change-Up'

Sandra's surprise: The red carpet's most stirring moment came after most of the movie's stars had moved far down the red carpet. The crowd went crazy as Sandra Bullock made an unannounced appearance to support her longtime friend and Proposal co-star Ryan Reynolds. The 47-year-old actress was all smiles as she made her way quietly past the screaming crowds and clamoring press. But her form-fitting black jumpsuit did all the talking necessary. Reynolds, who had already worked his way down the carpet, zipped back to embrace his friend and pose for pictures. And, for a moment, it was that 2009 movie chemistry all over again.
Comedy duo: For the most part, Reynolds and Bateman walked the red carpet together. On film, the two friends switch bodies. In person, the two friends exchanged one-liners.
Bateman confirmed they were taking their buddy gig on the road.
"We are going to start in the Poconos. We're going to see how it goes," he said.
"And then we are going to move to the Pechanga Indian Casino right there in Temecula," said Reynolds.
"Keep it small first. Try it out, test the stuff."
The laughs continued even when there could have been moments of seriousness. "Do not waste your money looking for a moral in this movie," said Bateman of the R-rated raunchy comedy. "Just come for some side-splitting humor and then get the hell out and read a book."
Lost in comedy: Change-Up star Olivia Wilde insisted she had missed out on all the box office excitement concerning Cowboys & Aliens over the weekend. While Cowboys struggled to win the weekend over the Smurfs movie, Wilde was busy with yet another project. "I was directing a comedy short, I was totally ensconced," she said. No matter, her movie won the race. Wilde called Free Hugs , the comedy short, the most "thrilling" event of her career. "I will do it again, so watch out," she added.
