CCA Industries unveils its new Nutra Nail Gel Perfect UV-Free Gel-Color
NEW YORK — Nutra Nail, a CCA Industries nail treatment brand, is looking to revolutionize at-home nail color with the introduction of its new UV and LED light-free gel color.
Salon gel manicures are a popular salon service, but the higher price tag, long application and cure time, and removal process (soaking in acetone for 15 minutes) can be off-putting for some consumers. Enter Nutra Nail Gel Perfect UV-free gel-color.
Nutra Nail Gel Perfect UV-free gel-color sets rock solid in five minutes. That means no dings, smudges or sheet marks. It offers a shiny, patent leather finish and there’s no UV or LED light needed.
How it works: A special activator is applied like a base coat under the brush-on gel color. They fuse together so that the combination “sets” rather than dries. This process creates a sold, extra shiny surface in less than five minutes with no UV or LED light required.
It is available in 12 different shades and has a suggested retail price of $11.99 (so it’s about $3 per application). It will begin shipping in September.
The brand also has created the No-Mess Express Gel Perfect remover for easy removal in about two minutes. It comes in a mess-free pouch delivery system to concentrate the remover on the nails and away from the skin. The remover also works on regular polish and UV gel polish and contains aloe and lanolin. It is priced at $5.99 for five pads.
