GALVESTON – A Baytown human has filed fit against his employer after it allegedly consummated him for filing a workers’ reward claim.

A legal case filed against Jacobs Engineering, Inc. June 6 in Galveston County District Court insists Michael Stevenson “would be entitled to take workers’ reward benefits in the eventuality that he was harmed in the march of his employment.”

Court credentials uncover Stevenson postulated injuries on Feb. 16, 2010, when he carried a finish of a siren as educated by his supervisor.

As a result, the complainant filed a workers’ reward claim and took other stairs to get hold of the benefits available beneath the Texas Workers’ Compensation Act.

However, Jacobs, that is a subscribing employer beneath the act, discharged Stevenson before long afterwards, the initial request says.
