Film Debut For Cole After US X Factor Exit

The role comes weeks after she was surprisingly axed from the US X Factor after just a few days .

Her publicist said: " Cheryl Cole is confirmed for a small cameo appearance in the film What To Expect When You're Expecting."

The movie, which stars Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Lopez, is based on the best-selling pregnancy guide of the same name.

And it follows the lives of four couples preparing to become parents.

Glee actor Matthew Morrison, Dennis Quaid and Chris Rock are also linked to the film, which is reportedly due to be released next May.

Cole gave up her role on the UK X Factor to join the panel in Simon Cowell's new US version, but the position was short-lived.

It was claimed the Girls Aloud star was axed from the American show because her Geordie accent was "too thick".

She was replaced by former Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger.

The film deal will now allow Cole, 28, to get all-important exposure in America.

TMZ was the first to spot the exes together in a red convertible — top down for all to see. Naturally, that got everyone wondering if the singers have reunited. Initially, Marc’s people played it vague, and said that Anthony was there visiting his kids. Those were just days after their shocking announcement, though. In the weeks after, Jen has implied that Marc wasn’t “good for [her]” and “not treating [her] in the right way.” Then other people (a.k.a. known as “insiders” or “sources close to the former couple”) started coming forward with their own stories about Marc’s jealous, controlling behaviour during Jennifer’s first season of Idol But parents will do anything for their kids, right? Jennifer and Marc were married for seven years, and friends long before that, so maybe they aren’t just grinning and bearing it. They clearly have Max and Emme’s best interests at heart so as long as the three-year-olds continue to feel loved and cared for, then good for Jen and Marc for putting any differences aside and making a less-than-ideal situation work.
